The excellent people at at Bido Lito and Melodic Distraction recorded virtually every DJ set that was played at Africa Oyé last year. In lieu of any actual festivals to go it’s been a treat to listen back to these sessions & imagine just for a few moments that we could all be dancing in fields again. You can check out all the sessions over at Bido Lito , so many great selections – Richie Vegas’s brand new “Confusion In Babylon” mix is a particular treat and the Positive Vibration crew always come correct – but in truth they’re all great and well worth digging into all 18 released so far, with more to come. If you’re able to support the festival to keep it free and going in these times of trouble please do so.
