We’re really excited to be joining the Pulp Disco crew who’ve put together a stellar festival line up for the 25th of September!
For the last few years Pulp Disco have been doing some great things and they’re putting together a fantastic event to see out the summer. The Pulp Disco Festival is taking place at the beautiful Chester Lakes on the 25th of September.
It’s a one day event with a host of DJ’s playing across two stages: Disco & House in the Main Marquee and Beats and Treats in the Other tent. The Pulp Disco residents are the super talented Jae Holmes – a producer and regular DJ at Creamfields and Garlands and Jesse Cooper – who we know well from the legendary Planet Of The Breaks days – and is quite simply one of the finest DJs you could ever hope to see. Speaking of Planet of The Breaks, DJ Deviant is also on the bill, he continues to produce outstanding sessions for his Rebel Skum crew (most recently teaming up with Stet for the barnstorming Rude Bwoy Riot mix), and collaborating with Regulate Recordings in Manchester.
There are a plethora of other talents on the list, another friend of Funkdub Darren Donnelly who’s played plenty of jumping sets at Creamfields and Garlands and set many a dancefloor alight in Chester. Paul Sidoli of Dream Cafe brings a balearic flavour to the disco. Producer and DJ Mark Armitage has built a huge following as a DJ in the North West and beyond, signed to Tool Box Recordings his reputation as a producer rising by the day. Aaron Amihere is another Creamfields regular who’s well known in Chester. Si Cousens is a Cream resident and headlined the VIP Stage at Cream Classical in 2019 (back when festivals and events used to happen!). Herbie Ennor is a Cestrian who’s been making waves in the last few years, check out his most recent mix as a taster ahead of the festival. If all that’s not enough then there’s going to be a live PA from Night and percussion from James Joseph. Oh & we’re bringing a dash of Funkdub beats & treats too!
Tickets are already selling quickly, get them from Skiddle, with both day tickets and camping available. It’s going to be an absolute blast, can’t wait!
