The Pharcyde and Jurassic 5. There are some names that don’t require an introduction, but we’ll give you one just to be sure. LA’s The Pharcyde have been revolutionizing hip-hip since their 1992 breakthrough Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, and at the helm throughout has been MC SLIMKID3, one of the sharpest lyrical minds of the last 20 years. Jurassic 5 have had a similar path to The Pharcyde, rising through the ranks of hip-hop notoriety as the 90’s progressed, and arriving at legendary status before long: the beats of DJ NU-MARK the cornerstone upon which all of their hits were built.

It’s probably the similarities in their experiences that have pushed SLIMKID3 & DJ NU-MARK to form one of the most exciting collaborations of recent times. With their self-titled LP out now via Delicious Vinyl, the two-piece are hitting up the UK circuit to debut some of the best material they’ve ever put their names to.
